About Tikumu Consulting

My name is Nicole Coyne and I am the founder and director of Tikumu Consulting and Coaching. The business was established in 2015 with the vision of coaching businesses to achieve success. Throughout my career, my work has consistently been orientated around training, people development, coaching, strategy, business operations and all areas of human resources.

I believe that people are the most important asset in your business. If they are coached, guided, supported and looked after, they will in turn look after your business. I have been in the franchise, strategy and people coaching business for over 23 years and have worked at the strategic management level for nearly 15 years, serving as the head of the Human Resources and Training department for an International Franchise business prior to launching Tikumu Consulting in New Zealand.

Throughout my career I have also worked in the academic world, tertiary college lecturing, external moderation for two technical universities and recently facilitating papers for the Graduate Diploma in Professional Coaching and the Bachelors of Applied Management for the Southern Institute of Technology. I also coached Executive MBA students on behalf of Massey University.

I hold a Diploma in Professional Coaching and a post-graduate Diploma in Applied Management. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a qualified Extended DISC practitioner and Extended DISC Master Trainer.
