Golden nuggets worth sharing #5 – Inspiration from George Bernard Shaw

Two quotes by George Bernard Shaw which truly resonate with me. The first quote speaks of people who are in control of their future and absolutely making things happen for themselves. Waiting around for something good to land in your lap or for someone else to direct your future can be extremely disempowering and soul destroying. This type of positive mindset, being in control of your destiny and actively choosing your path is exciting and liberating and helps you achieve your desired goals faster.

People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.”
~ George Bernard Shaw

The second quote I find totally inspiring! It opens your eyes to see that there are so many opportunities in life from which you can choose, and most importantly that you are the only one who can create a stronger, better you. Nobody else!

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
~ George Bernard Shaw

Hope these have inspired you as much as they have me. Every now and again I find myself referring back to these wise words and they focus me. Powerful stuff!!
